WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump sought Tuesday to prevent yourself from blame for Harley-Davidson’s decision to advance some motorcycle production overseas and threatened to tax the manufacturer “like never before!” as punishment to the planned production shift.
The Milwaukee-based company said Monday it reached its decision due to retaliatory tariffs it faces inside an escalating trade dispute between U.S. as well as the Eu. The company did not have immediate response Tuesday for the president’s assertions.
