Six thousand (6,000) cocoa farmers are already registered to the “Nyonkodo Farmer Life Plan”, an insurance coverage scheme, launched with the Nyonkopa Cocoa Buying Limited for the loyal customers.
The scheme combines pension, funeral package and academic support for children of farmers.
To qualify, the farmer need to have done business together with the licensed cocoa purchasing company for a minimum of 5yrs.
