British Steel, the Scunthorpe-headquartered manufacturing powerhouse, has expanded its global reach with nine new international sales offices.

This follows the company’s earlier efforts to rebrand its overseas offices that are fitted with now been completed.

Since launch day on 1 June 2016, British Steel regional account managers globally are providing support to customers under transitional arrangements with Tata Steel.

New offices are already set-up in the states, Germany, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Netherlands, Poland, Singapore and Taiwan.

CEO Peter Bernscher said: “Our new positioning we can ensure local service for global markets, engaging all customers and consistently delivering value.

“Due on the efforts of our own team as well as the ongoing support of consumers and stakeholders, the whole offices have right now successfully transitioned on the revitalised brand that has a permanent history and a prosperous future.”

The company said its Dsseldorf office is “well positioned” in order to reach the needs of it’s customers and also the popular demand for wire rod products.

The USA is amongst the company’s biggest markets, operating customers lending support within the new brand.

Pete Joyce, President Americas, said: “British Steel may be a well-known name during this country and is synonymous with quality, service and innovation.

“Alongside our American office, we’ve got phone sales agents operating in Brazil and Mexico, being sure that we expand our reach to supply personal service.”

Two within the latest offices to read were vacation and Poland.

British Steel even offers a dentist’s office in Saint-Germain near Paris.
